Terms & Conditions — Sonic Reality Check (Mix Audit)

Provider: Billy Wonka Music (“Provider,” “we,” “us”)
Customer: The purchaser of the Sonic Reality Check (“you,” “Customer”)
1) Service Description
The Sonic Reality Check is a professional diagnostic audit of one (1) track and includes a recorded video review with a detailed breakdown and prioritized action steps. This service is not a full mix/master service and does not include unlimited revisions.
2) Deliverables
You will receive:
A recorded video audit with actionable feedback and next steps.
Feedback may address mix, production, arrangement, and/or recording issues, as applicable.
No project files (sessions, stems, presets) are included unless explicitly stated in writing.
3) Turnaround Time
Provider will deliver the recorded video review within 24 hours of your song upload, with a maximum 24-hour turnaround. Turnaround timing starts when Provider has received an accessible track link or file with working permissions.
4) Customer Responsibilities (Submission Requirements)
You agree to provide:
One track per purchase.
A working private link or file (Dropbox/Drive/SoundCloud private, etc.) with correct permissions enabled.
If the link is inaccessible, delayed, password-protected without a password, or otherwise unusable, the turnaround clock is paused until corrected.
5) Scope Limits
The Sonic Reality Check:
Provides professional opinions and recommendations based on the audio provided and the Provider’s experience.
Does not guarantee specific artistic, commercial, streaming, label, playlist, or chart outcomes.
Does not include hands-on editing/mixing/mastering of your track unless you separately purchase such services in writing.
6) No Refunds / All Sales Final
All purchases are final. No refunds, returns, chargebacks, or cancellations for any reason, including (without limitation) change of mind, unmet expectations, or failure to read the service description.
Because this is a digital, time-based professional service that requires allocation of time and expertise, you acknowledge that the service is non-refundable once purchased.
7) Re-Delivery / Corrections
If you did not receive your deliverable due to a technical delivery issue on Provider’s side (e.g., incorrect email entry, failed sending), Provider will make reasonable efforts to re-send the deliverable after verifying purchase.
8) Optional Upgrade Credit
If you hire Provider for a full mix and master project after your audit, your Sonic Reality Check payment may be applied as a credit toward the project if booked within 30 days of the audit purchase (or within 30 days of delivery—choose one and keep it consistent).
Credit:
Applies to a qualifying full mix/master invoice issued by Provider.
Is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Expires automatically after the 30-day window.
9) Intellectual Property & License
You retain all rights to your music. By submitting audio, you represent you have the rights/permissions necessary for Provider to review it. You grant Provider a limited license to access and use the audio solely to perform the service and deliver the audit.
10) Confidentiality
Provider will treat your unreleased music and materials as confidential and will not publicly share your track or private links without your written permission, except where required by law or to process payment/disputes.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Provider’s total liability for any claim related to the Sonic Reality Check will not exceed the amount you paid for the service. Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
12) Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern, you agree to contact Provider first at: billywonkamusic@gmail.com and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.
13) Changes to Terms
Provider may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms in effect at the time of purchase apply to that purchase.
